every couple months I try to put together a shoot that is really for fun more than anything else. it's a chance to create because you love to create--to shoot because you love to shoot. I've said it before and I'll say it again--it is so wonderful to shoot something with no expectations for the outcome. for this particular shoot I was inspired by the bright promise of summer--ice cream cones, cotton candy, dresses, balloons--all that summery goodness. the retro classiness of the 1960's was also heavy on my mind.
thankfully I had the extremely talented Miss Kim Smith working the makeup and the hair-stylist-extraordinaire Sydney Lopez and a wonderful little number from Kate Spade. it was all magic, friends. amazing vendors and beautiful spring weather.
also, just as a thought, wouldn't this be a bomb senior session? let's get our little brains together and make some creative magic happen. let's think outside of the box and get together for some coffee and create a senior session that is completely unique and fun.
