it blows my mind the way the lord brings people together. what a freaking blessing. a rare beautiful thing—to meet someone you instantly connect with. conversation that goes and goes and goes. and not the superficial stuff—digging deep right away. when there are so many commonalities. it felt familiar and easy. i left feeling filled up.

we had the dustiest dreamiest creamiest sugar light that fell in thick drippy puddles. and then just like that, coastal fog crept its way through the valleys, a rare evening treat. a gift. and we screamed and laughed and played and named trees.
